COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY:

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 will be required to attend performances until further notice. (Boosters are not currently required, but are very strongly advised.)

 

COVID-19 MASK POLICY:

The Cabaret strongly encourages all patrons to wear masks, however masks are NOT required unless requested by the performing artist. Updates will be provided to ticket holders prior to each performance.

The mask policy change was made after careful consultation with public health professionals and in accordance with CDC guidelines – along with feedback from our artists and our audience. This change in policy is effective immediately (March 17, 2022).

As with all safety policies, we will continue to regularly assess our policies as the situation evolves.

The Cabaret reserves the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to artist requirements, updated public health guidance, and applicable law.

Safety at The Cabaret depends on us all. Here’s what we’re counting on from you:

Proof of vaccination

Proof of vaccination will be required to attend all performances at The Cabaret until further notice. Only guests who are fully vaccinated will be permitted to attend.

“Full vaccination” means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of FDA or WHO authorized double-dose vaccines or that 14 days have passed since receiving the sole dose of FDA or WHO authorized single-dose vaccines.

Boosters are NOT required, but are strongly advised.

To make it as streamlined as possible, as well as to offer options for those concerned with privacy, guests may present vaccine verification in one of the following ways:

  • A digital photo of your vaccine card shown via smartphone – along with a photo ID
  • The physical vaccine card – along with a photo ID
  • An official government certificate of vaccination. (Indiana residents may click here to access a certificate of vaccination.)

PLEASE NOTE: Effective February 2022, are no longer accepting the MyBindle app.

 

Masks are encouraged, but no longer required.

In careful consultation with public health professionals and in accordance with CDC guidelines – along with feedback from our artists and our audience – The Cabaret is implementing the following change in policy effective immediately:

If you are feeling ill, stay home

If you’re feeling ill or have symptoms related to a cold or infectious disease, please stay home.

 

Visitor Conduct

All visitors are required to follow The Cabaret’s policies. Verbally abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening statements or behavior toward staff and other visitors is prohibited. We reserve the right to require visitors whose conduct violates these policies to leave the premises immediately.

Here’s what you can count on from us:

  • Fully vaccinated staff, artists, food service staff, and volunteers.
  • All staff, food service staff, and volunteers will always remain masked.
  • A state-of-the-art needlepoint bi-polar ionization air sanitizing system.
  • Restrooms with touch-free faucets, toilet, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers.
  • Hand sanitizer stations with a 60%+ alcohol content placed throughout the indoor and outdoor venues.
  • Increased theater cleanings with ongoing cleanings of high-touch areas.
  • Contactless tickets, as usual. Simply give your reservation name to the Patron Services Associate at the check-in table upon arrival.
  • Removal of intermission during performances to reduce congestion in common spaces and bathrooms.

 

Ticket exchange policy

  • All ticket buyers will be sent a pre-performance email with current health and safety protocols.
  • Those who cannot meet the theater’s requirements or need to cancel due to health & safety concerns may request a credit to their account – to be used within the same calendar year – no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled performance.
  • Those who cancel within 72 hours prior to the performance, may exchange their tickets to another performance within the same calendar year for a $5 processing fee per ticket.

COVID-19 Acknowledgement & Liability Waiver

As a precondition to your admission onto the premises of The Cabaret (Company) you agree to the following:

You understand that The Cabaret has endeavored to comply with applicable governmental and public health guidance to create a safe environment for staff, performers, attendees, and other visitors.  You understand that COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease transmitted through human contact and respiratory droplets (including through the air and via common surfaces), that it is possible that you may contract COVID-19 while attending a show or event at The Cabaret, and that contracting COVID-19 could lead to sickness or death.

You assume all risk in connection with your admission to a show or event at The Cabaret.  In consideration for The Cabaret allowing you admission onto the premises for an event or performance, on behalf of you and all of your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, you hereby waive and release any and all claims that you could bring against The Cabaret, any of its affiliates, or any of The Cabaret or its affiliates’ respective owners, shareholders, partners, members, executives, officers, directors, employees, or other personnel (collectively, the “Company Parties”) in any arbitration or court proceeding, including any cases arising from the Company Parties’ own negligence, except as prohibited by law.  You promise not to sue any of the Company Parties in any court or arbitration based on any claim released or waived hereunder, either individually or as part of any group or class, and further promise not to authorize any other individual or non-governmental entity to pursue claims on your behalf.

You represent and warrant that (a) you fully understand the terms, conditions, and significance of this COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver and its binding effect; (b) you understand that you are waiving legal rights and remedies, including but not limited to any negligence or “tort” claims you otherwise could pursue; (c) you are competent to manage your affairs and enter into this COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver; (d) you are entering into this COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver knowingly, voluntarily, and without any pressure by any of the Company Parties; and (e) you have not assigned any of the claims waived hereunder to any other person or entity.
