Season features Broadway icons Christian Borle, Eva Noblezada & Reeve Carney, Tracie Thoms, Jessica Vosk, and cultural icon Isaac Mizrahi; plus, jazz luminaries Gunhild Carling, Stella Cole, Emmet Cohen with Georgia Heers; and acclaimed local artists in The Cabaret’s award-winning intimate venue.
The Cabaret’s 2025 Fall-Winter Season sparkles with Broadway brilliance and vintage jazz, focusing on joy, laughter, and love as it welcomes legendary performers, international sensations, and rising stars to its renowned stage.
The Glick Philanthropies Broadway at The Cabaret Series kicks off September 12 with two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle, celebrated for Something Rotten, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Some Like It Hot as well as TV’s SMASH and The Good Wife. The series continues with Broadway’s beloved and newly-engaged couple Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Cabaret, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and TV’s Penny Dreadful), Emmy nominee and Rent original cast and film star Tracie Thoms (Rent, Falsettos, TV’s 9-1-1, and film Looper, Death Proof, The Devil Wears Prada), fashion icon turned cabaret star and cultural icon Isaac Mizrahi (Café Carlyle residency, Chicago, Unzipped documentary, TV’s Project Runway All Stars, and podcast Hello Isaac) and culminates with a joyful holiday celebration led by Broadway powerhouse Jessica Vosk (Hell’s Kitchen, Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland, The Bridges of Madison County).
Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney will also present a free masterclass together for 200 local students and artists at The Cabaret on Thursday, September 25.
The Jazz at The Cabaret Series welcomes viral sensation and Postmodern Jukebox star Stella Cole, reviving the Great American Songbook for a new generation, followed by jazz pianist extraordinaire and American Piano Awards 2019 winner Emmet Cohen and Juilliard-trained vocalist Georgia Heers, who recently debuted on Broadway in Good Night, and Good Luck.
Swedish jazz sensation Gunhild Carling, known for her flamboyant, multi-instrumental performances, headlines the Christel DeHaan International Series in partnership with Indy Jazz Fest (Postmodern Jukebox, America’s Got Talent, Sweden’s Got Talent).
The Artist in Residence Series continues with Okara Imani, a multidisciplinary artist known for her soul-infused sound and genre-defying style. The fan-favorite Big Broadway Sing-Along: Holiday Edition brings audience participation and festive fun with Scott Semester and Sean Baker. And the season concludes with the Ball State University Student Showcase, spotlighting future stars through The Cabaret’s Next Generation Series.
“In a time of profound social need and disconnection, we believe The Cabaret’s purpose is to offer a shared space for respite, reflection, and connection—for both artists and audiences. This vision has shaped our plans for The Cabaret’s 2025 Fall Season, which will focus on joy, laughter, and love,” said Shannon Forsell, Artistic Director and CEO of The Cabaret.
