About the Show

Tony Award-nominee  Norm Lewis rings in the holiday season with his unique spin on holiday favorites, such as “This Christmas,” “Santa Baby,” “Where Is Love?,” “Home” from The Wiz,” “The Gift of Love,” and “All I Want for Christmas,” along with songs from throughout his career that have made him one of the most sought-after leading men on Broadway.

About Norm Lewis

Norm Lewis continues to be one of Broadway’s most sought-after leading men. He spent much of this year downtown in Mrs. Lovett’s pie shop at the Barrow Street Theater in Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd alongside Tony nominee Carolee Carmello. You can currently see Lewis on Broadway in the hit revival of Once on This Island.

Lewis recently made history as the first African American to play the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. He received a Tony nomination for his performance as Porgy in the Broadway production of The Gershwins’ Porgy & Bess opposite Audra McDonald. Other Broadway credits include Sondheim on Sondheim, The Little Mermaid, Les Misérables, Chicago, Amour, The Wild Party, Side Show, Miss Saigon, and The Who’s Tommy.  In London’s West End, he has appeared as Javert in Les Misérables and Les Misérables: The 25th Anniversary Concert, which aired on PBS.

He was seen on PBS in the Live From Lincoln Center productions of Norm Lewis: Who Am I?, New Year’s Eve: A Gershwin Celebration with Diane Reeves, American Voices with Renée Fleming, and the Live From Lincoln Center production of Showboat.

Lewis is a regular on VH1’s Daytime Divas, which stars his good friend, Vanessa Williams, playing her hot (and conniving) doorman, William. His additional television credits include The Blacklist and Blue Bloods, as well as his recurring role as Senator Edison Davis on the hit drama Scandal.
