About the show.
From Brooklyn to Broadway
Tony Award winner Lillias White pulls back the show curtain to tell humorous, poignant, and inspiring stories from both her personal and show business life that she has never shared before – onstage or off. She will interweave songs from the soundtrack of her life and career milestones through the music of Frank Loesser, Stephen Sondheim, Ann Hampton Callaway, Jerry Herman, Cy Coleman, and more.
A native New Yorker, Lillias made her Broadway debut in Barnum. She has also appeared on Broadway in Cats, Carrie, Dreamgirls, Once On This Island, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Chicago, and Fela! (Tony Award nomination). In Cy Coleman’s and Ira Gasman’s The Life, she won the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award for her portrayal of a world weary, no-nonsense hooker named Sonya.
Lillias White has toured internationally with her one-woman show, From Brooklyn To Broadway, and she’s graced the stages at Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Sydney Australia Opera House, the Singapore Opera House, and the Palm Beach Pops. Lucky for us, she’ll soon be adding The Cabaret to that list!
In addition to all of her incredible Broadway and concert credits, she has also appeared on quite a few television shows and movies – including Disney’s animated hit, Hercules, where she voiced the lead muse/narrator, Calliope. (And, we all know the muses have the best songs in that movie!)
Long story short: Lillias White is going to put on a show that you will NOT want to miss. Get your tickets today!

“Ms. White is a one-of-a-kind performer who combines the sass of a classic blues mama with the skill of a Broadway star. What sets her above and apart from most Broadway pop blues shouters is her ruthless honesty and self-awareness.”
