About the Show

Described as “luminous” and “a sly comic genius” (New York Times), Broadway favorite Annaleigh Ashford has thrilled audiences in  Sunday in the Park with George,  Kinky Boots, and You Can’t Take It With You, for which she won a Tony Award. She also earned television fame with critically acclaimed turns on  Masters of Sex and  American Crime Story. Ashford brings her stunning vocals and comic verve to The Cabaret for an evening of classic cabaret not to be missed!   Ashford’s other Broadway credits include Sylvia, Rent, and Legally Blonde.  Her acclaimed cabaret show was recently filmed on PBS as part of the Emmy Award–winning series Live from Lincoln Center.  She is currently working on the feature Bad Education with Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney, the upcoming Netflix series Unbelievable starring Toni Collette and Merritt Wever. 

About Annaleigh Ashford

Annaleigh Ashford is currently working on the feature Bad Education with Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney as well as the upcoming Netflix series Unbelievable starring Toni Collette and Merritt Wever. She was most recently seen on screen in Ryan Murphy’s FX miniseries American Crime Story: Versace and in the film Second Act with Jennifer Lopez. Ashford starred on Broadway opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, as Dot in Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George. She won the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award for her portrayal of Essie in
You Can’t Take It With You. Other Broadway credits include Sylvia in Sylvia, the original Lauren in Kinky Boots (Clarence Derwent Award, Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle nominations), Glinda in Wicked, Jeannie in Hair, and the original Margot in Legally Blonde the Musical. Off-Broadway credits include Dot in Sunday in the Park with George (Encores!), Helena in The Public’s Theatre’s Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Delacorte Theater), Maureen in Rent (New World Stages), and Marcie in Dogfight (Second Stage). Annaleigh played Betty on Showtime’s critically
acclaimed Masters of Sex. Other television and film credits include Columbia in The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Fox, Nurse Jackie, The Big C, Law & Order SVU, Smash, Unicorn Store, Sex and the City, Better Off Single, Top Five, Rachel Getting Married, Frozen. Her critically acclaimed solo show, Annaleigh Ashford: Lost in the Stars Live at 54 Below was released by Broadway Records in 2016.
